Hello all,
I just completed the subtle mind exercise and I really enjoyed it, it left me feeling very relaxed, as opposed to the loving kindness exercise.the loving kindness exercise was about picture ring someone you loved and then the world taking their suffering and bReathing back into them, love, happiness and peace. The subtle mind was more about focusing on your breath and relaxing your body doing so. The loving kindness exercise I found a little bit frustrating because what do you do with the suffering want to breathe into yourself, whereas focusing on just relaxing in the Sun all mine weaves you letting go of all the negativity and observing your thoughts. I was not really sure what to do with the suffering thoughts.
Sriritual, mental and physical wellness are all connectEd in that they are part of our being whole.  If mentally I am thinking of negative thoughts the tension from the thoughts is going to cause biologically negative chemical reactions, so it is important that we keep them all in balance as well as be in tuned with them, these exercises are one of many exercises to assist us in reamaining focused and clear.  Not to sound redundant, but since I am a Yoga teacher, I have found practising that it is like being in a meditative state the entire time or doing mental exercises, as Dacher descibed.  I suffered from asthma really bad from childhood and when I began Yoga seven years ago I no longer need any asthma treatments that I used to rely on daily, so I praise the practice amd everything I have learned thus far in class in terms of Integral Health, is defining what I learned through yoga.  Happy Blogging: )
Hello all,
Sothis week the practice of exercise and loving kindness. Loving kindness is easy to do with people that you care about but what the exercise wants us to do is carry those emotions and feelings whether they be ups and downs like feeling are loved one is happy or in pain and carry it on to the outside world and people we don't know. Part of human flourishing is that we are able to be one with everything around us and appreciate all of our worldly beauty.Olympian mental fitness requires us to work out our minds in concentration this is another area I have learned to practice with meditation in yoga. Yoga teaches you to challenge yourself physically mentally spiritually and to accept who you are, what you look like and Set goals for yourself and try and become bette.   with physical exercise we become tired with mental exercise there is no limit your mind can go on n on n on so we learn to still the mind and process everything that is around us.
