Ok so I am into another semester and learning about how to apply nutrition to my clients and increasing my knowledge on Integral healing.  Integral healing is interesting Ken Wilber And Elliot S. Dacher are the two authors we are getting to know om the subject right now.  Its all about healing thyself, so I am hoping the spirituality factor and God are not lost here, because there is a lot to be said on the faith aspect of healing.  I truly believe God can help in some of our anxiety filled hours.  This life is not an easy one and when I trust I Gods plan for me it comforts me and I hope to incorporate this philosophy when I have developed my full treatment plan for helping others.

  1. Ok so I went on to read chapter 1 because I was feeling sad about my relationship with my boyfriend and I realized what Dacher is goimg for here. The spiritual is not lost, it is great when you work on your spiritual, physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, but what about being able to be in that space of excitement about life, like when your on the deans list or your clients are meeting their goals with your guidance or all your bills are paid or all my children are happy and healthy...my point is to feel those highs in moments in life all the time. You then would seize the day, Carpe Diem!! Thus more easily attaining all your dreams in this life. Thus I see in my relationship that we just want different things, but I need not be reliant on temporary fixes like romance I want inner satisfaction, joy, love, and peace.

  2. Hi Eliana,
You brought up an interesting part of healing, God. So many Christians separate God and healing, and many times they are afraid of the integral aspect of healing. I believe that God created us mind, body and soul and that He wants us to use every aspect of our being for the good of us and others. God created our bodies to heal itself. So when we look inward we are not shutting God out but we are including in our healing process that which God provided.
You also mention being excited about life. Recently I read an article on celebrating life and ourselves. That most times we spend a fraction of a second on our accomplishments. Have you ever heard of EFT or "tapping"? Well this article was about tapping on celebration. I was thinking that you might benefit from listening to and trying out the celebration tapping session. You are right about feeling those "highs" in life and seizing the day, or moments. So, do you think you can stay in a relationship where you both want different things?

  3. HI Kathleen,
Thanks for the tip I will look into "tapping," and no I do not think you can I was venting that day and feeling very distant from him. But after conversation last night I realize that he's just going through a hard time because his mom has cancer and I felt like we were stagnant but he just has to deal with that right now and I have to be supportive and he really does want the same things I do just getting through some life obstacles that have been thrown at him find it in myself to be there for him and concentrate on being A whole person that can support my man and try not to be emotional. Have a good night.
